October has always been one of my favorite times of the year to ride! It is great to get past the hot Texas summer and enjoy a cool breeze as you ride down the beautiful roads of Texas. Hill Country riding is especially great this time of year, as the chilly mornings make you yearn to stay out all day and enjoy the views.
Be sure that you have your bike in shape for the rides, and that you wear a helmet and all of your safety gear. And also be sure that you have your proof of insurance and up-to-date registration documents with you when you head out. An expensive ticket is not a good way to end your tour for the day.
